Sweden\u2019s largest e-Grocery provider Mathem introduced Mathem Express, a new service for fast deliveries with Vok\u2019s cargo bikes. Vok\u2019s bikes will be delivering Mathem groceries to households in S\u00f6dermalm, Stockholm, within 30 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>

The new service is enabled by Vok\u2019s unique cargo bikes with built-in compartments that allow couriers to conveniently deliver multiple orders at once. The service enables Mathem\u2019s customers to order home their entire weekly food supply and get it delivered fast. The comfortable cargo bikes are also an important key factor in Mathem\u2019s focus on a sustainable working environment for the couriers.<\/p>

Sara Tranarp, Head of Business Development at Mathem and project manager for Mathem Express,<\/strong> commented:<\/p>

Initially, all households in S\u00f6dermalm, Reimersholme and L\u00e5ngholmen area in central Stockholm are covered by the service and the plan is to expand to other parts of Stockholm and beyond. Mathem Express works as a separate dark store, called \u201clight store\u201d by Mathem \u2013 a well-stocked convenience store that only takes online orders. The orders are packed on-site and delivered with sustainable transport vehicles.<\/p>

For Vok, the partnership with Mathem marks a big step in the company\u2019s expansion to the Nordics, where e-Grocery and home delivery are on the rise. Vok aims to repeatedly multiply its cargo bike fleet in the next years to boost last-mile delivery across Europe. Vok\u2019s unique bikes enable delivery platforms to increase efficiency in the booming market, making their operations financially and ecologically more sustainable.<\/p>
